St. Mary Student Council consists of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students elected each fall by the Junior High students and teachers.  Student council and the teacher moderators meet once a week in the morning before school.

Student Council takes charge of a wide range of responsibilities from acting as hosts and hostesses for school visitors and setting up for school assemblies to coordinating community service activities such as the collection of toys for the Seven Hills Neighborhood Services’ Christmas store in the East End and a February food drive
