St. Mary School Mission Statement
In partnership with parents and in accordance with the magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, the mission of St. Mary School is to inspire students to strive for holiness, challenge them to reach their academic potential, and teach them to recognize the inherent human dignity of all God’s children.
Where Children Matter Most
Classroom teachers at St. Mary are dedicated to the care and education of the whole child. The classroom teaching experience of our faculty averages 20+ years – more than 35 percent of our teachers hold Master’s Degrees or post-graduate credits. All Religion Teachers are certified catechists with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Each teacher works closely with the principal and specialists to develop the full potential of each child.
Parents are the primary educators of their children, and their involvement in our school is applauded and appreciated. We encourage parents to work within the classrooms, computer lab, library, cafeteria, and playground, to serve as resources, attend conferences, and give the teachers and principal input about the school program. Parents and teachers are partners in education and, only by working together, can the best possible results be achieved for our children.
Our school complies with the Decree on Child Protection as promulgated by the Archbishop of Cincinnati. Our fingerprinting policy includes manual fingerprinting for employees and electronic background checks for all employees and volunteers.
